30 climbers most of the second semester has captured the Mount Rabung on January 22, 2011. This is the first expedition that involves students PKB to Mt Rabung. The expedition is accompanied by  Alan a guide from  SR OUTDOOR GEAR CENTRE and Kelantan Climbing Association.
This mountain is called Mount Rabong that look more like rabong (food cover) when viewed from Gua Musang, Kelantan. The Mountain high is 1538m above sea level. This is indicated by a pillar of iron on the peak. The only mountain in the district of Gua Musang under KESEDAR supervision.

The first day's journey from home Maksu (homestay) Kg Renok start by taking the truck to Camp Milo through the Felda Perasu. Lori Abe Din, which is usually used to carry cattle, 2 to 3 times stuck and had to push.

From Felda Perasu, the next route follow the logging road. There are clear rapids suitable for bathing after the expedition. Our first stop at the bridge because the truck was stuck there. From the second bridge to the forest trail takes about an hour. Next we climb through the fern track / track a former logging road lived up to the first camp.

Helipad  is the next Checkpoint, we arrive here within 2-4 hours from the first camp.we move to the final destination for the first day. There is a stream near  Last Waterpoint Camp Site. The camp can accommodate 20-30 people were in the middle of the tree-covered ridges and tall. The first day is very tiring journey because the trail is not used for a long time by climbers.

Second day. All climbers wake up early to the summit. The track is quite a blaze of glory and the path down the ridge.  It takes 2 to 3 hours from the camp site. Peaks is small and narrow to 20 people camping. There is a point of view at the summit the mountain. We can see Gunung Tahan from Merapoh and from Kuala Koh.

We going down to the Felda Perasu and then returned to the polytechnics
